Ethos
You’ll get my opinion.
If I think you’re solving the wrong problem, I’ll tell you. If you don’t need AI, I’ll tell you. If the tool you want to buy isn’t the answer, I’ll tell you that too.
I’ll get close enough to the work to have an opinion worth giving, and then I’ll help you do something about it.
Why before how.
Someone says:
“We need more pipeline.” Why?
“We need Clay.” Why?
“Our SDR spends 80% of their time building lists.” Show me.
What is actually happening today? Where does it break? What are you trying to accomplish?
A workflow being inefficient doesn’t necessarily mean it shouldn’t exist. It just means it needs to be fixed.
Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it’s process. Sometimes it’s coaching. Sometimes it’s the stack. Sometimes the thing you asked me to build shouldn’t exist.
You bring knowledge of your business. I bring nearly a decade carrying quota, GTM judgment, and systems thinking. We push on each other’s assumptions until we get to something that works.
Human judgment stays in control.
AI should do substantially more work. Use it to do the research, bring together what the team knows, watch for changes, and prepare the next step.
Let it act on its own when the task has clear boundaries and a mistake is recoverable. People should still own the decisions that depend on judgment, creativity, trust, or accountability.
You don’t pay me to agree with you.
You pay me to solve your problems.
